Aaaaand here we are. Landing in autumn again after an absolutely cracking summer. Thankfully no rain for 3 months turned into a fair bit of rain in two days across the weekend bridging the seasons. Freshening up everything as we headed into the vineyards to kick off vintage 2026.

To my mind, Autumn is made for big glasses of spiced Grenache and Mataro wines. There's nothing quite like a big blue sky day followed a star filled night or a game of footy on the telly to get me reaching for a bottle of Joshua, Avatar, The G, or maybe even my most favorite wine - The Dog Strangler Mataro.

These are reds made for pleasure. For topping the big glass to the brim. For hoovering all those spices and savoury notes up through your hooter. For supping your way through all that generous flavour. Press play & repeat!
