Master Mixer captures Kym Teusner’s instinct as a blender – wines guided by experience, intuition and a vast library of parcels from the Barossa. Stepping behind the decks, Kym brings together parcels of Shiraz sourced predominantly from our own vineyards.

There’s a confidence to this wine – composed, generous and complete – finishing long and savoury with a polished structure to reward time in the cellar. A statement Shiraz, and a fitting leader for the Master Mixer range.

Background Spiel

The Master Mixer Shiraz is sourced predominantly from our own vineyards at Semmler, Maria Street, Hoffmann, Wilksch and Mattschoss. Anchored in Barossa tradition but shaped with a lighter hand, the blend is complemented by a small yet important component from one of our growers, situated on one of the most elevated Shiraz sites in the Barossa at around 300 metres above sea level. This fruit brings aromatic lift, spice and restraint, allowing us to build a Shiraz that is concentrated, yet finely detailed and expressive.
