2022 Righteous 'FG' Shiraz

The 2022 vintage delivered fruit of striking purity and structure from the Wilksch Vineyard at Seppeltsfield, with this release sourced from two adjacent Shiraz blocks within this single vineyard site. Block K, positioned at the vineyard’s highest point overlooking Greenock Creek, was harvested on March 17th, followed eight days later by Block E, contour planted along the creek line.

"Very deep, dense purple-red with a smoky oak first aroma, savoury and detailed, while the palate is plush and luscious with seriously rich, sweetly ripe fruit and terrific depth. Impressive wine: concentrated and profound, Smoky, toasty oak is nicely handled adding extra detail. A smashing shiraz for the long haul, which is already a terrific drink!"
