EOFY FG Upgrade Dozen

Oh the special joys of end of financial year! The least funnest thing about wine by a country mile. The only thing I really enjoy about this time of the year is rewarding members of the Teusner Righteous Society with something very FG.

Yonks ago I got myself in a bit of a pickle with another winery after the fancy name I'd chosen for my best Shiraz of vintage was deeemed to be a little to like theirs. Wine is a small world, so wanting to avoid any unsightly legal argy-bargy I happily agreed to make a change. An equally fancy name failed to materialise...and hence I determined to name the wine for exactly what it was - 'FG'!

As good mate Dave Brookes from Halliday Wine Companion once so eloquently stated..."The 'FG' here does not stand for 'Fairly Grouse'. It stands for exactly what you think it does." Welcome to the ever growing IYKYN club!

As has become the tradition, at the end of each financial year we bundle up a dozen mixed reds priced very handsomely....and then replace one with a bottle of our 2022 Righteous FG Shiraz valued at $170 at no extra charge.

How FG is that!?!?

This year's dozen contains 2 bottles each of the 2021 Riebke Shiraz, 2022 Bilmore Shiraz, 2023 Wark Family Shiraz, 2022 Independent Shiraz Mataro, 2023 Albert Shiraz and 2021 Big Jim Shiraz.

Normally priced at $524, we're letting this dozen out the door for just $399 including delivery - a saving of 24%. PLUS of course we'll upgrade one bottle in the dozen to a 96 point 2022 Righteous FG Shiraz valued at $170 without asking for a single extra cent!
